This was my first time working with Betty. She went above and beyond to ensure that my rather complicated trip was put together without a stitch within a very short time frame. Betty helped us plan our dream Alaskan vacation in May 2022. Every single detail was attended to, she put us up in the cutest boutique inn in Anchorage. The tour group who took us all around Anchorage and up to Talkeetna, and other places was amazing. Betty knew just what to do. We are not computer savvy with trip planning and Betty was so patient with us. She stuck with us all the way. She is very knowlegable, get to know her clients so she knows what they like, and makes sure they are good to go before the trip. We highly recommend Betty and are using her again for a group trip. Betty organized a fabulous Costa Rican vacation including snorkeling, hiking, volcanos, zip lines and plenty of opportunities to appreciate Costa Rican culture. Hotel choices were excellent. This was my first fine planning a cruise and I had a million questions. I wanted to make sure I did everything I needed to and k we all my options. Betty was referred to me and the best thing I did was reach out to her! Betty helped my husband and I plan our honeymoon to St Lucia she was amazing from the beginning! She helped us go to the location we wanted and keep in our budget! My Cruise Planners agent, Betty, told me this would be a fantastic trip & she was absolutely right. I was treated like royalty on the ship and the daily sightseeing tours were terrific. It was great having an agent make all of the arrangements - for the flights, the cruise, and the transfers between the two. It all came together smoothly, and, she actually got me a better price than I could find on my own, I checked! The trip was outstanding.
We were blessed with super weather the entire cruise... a few showers but never any serious waves. We did one excursion at each of the ports. We saw whales at Juneau and later from the ship; saw all kinds of crabs and an octopus plus DOZENS of eagles on the Most Dangerous Catch excursion at Ketchikan; thoroughly enjoyed the train ride up and bus down the White Pass Rail excursion at Skagway; learned and saw so much related to the massive but brief gold rush that brought many thousands of people to a totally uninhabitable place; we spent long times at each of several huge glaciers where we saw and heard the "calving" of ice slabs breaking off of the face of the glaciers; numerous otters and sea lions; And then we left the ship!
Mt McKinley Wilderness Lodge was superb. The place and people were great, and the mountain views came and went but were beautiful when they were "out". We could live there. Continuing to the next two stops we saw two moose from the bus, and some more great mountains. The last stop outside the Denali National park was also terrific. We did one excurion, a Natural History Tour which took us 37 miles into Denali National Park. We saw numerous carribou, only one more moose, a lot of Dall sheep, but no bears. It was still beautiful, and wild.
This was our second trip that Betty arranged for us this year. She was not only able to get us a great price but also some additional onboard benefits. Overall it is one of the best vacations we have taken. Thank you so much. We are already looking forward to our next vacation! The trip was outstanding.
